TIME tells me that a columnist for The Guardian, a British newspaper notorious for its vision of the left, went to 'defend the country's image', so naturally I was interested to see what was what happened. And I can not agree more with this gem:
Yet as long as the west Refuse to curb demand for cocaine STI - or Legalise and commercialis it - the drug Will Be Produced and trade from the Entire Andean region. It is Economic illiteracy to pretend That Can Be stemmed demand by Curbing supply, and grotesquely Unfair to persecute a poor supplier while one's own elite consumes vast Quantities of the stuff . The Corruption of Latin America's political economy by the west's narco guilt is sickening. The least westerners That dog do to atone for this guilt is to visit Colombia and enjoy it. Best
I could not have said never.
