"This is not a book written exclusively for psychologists, but for anyone who is interested in pain and the possibility of overcoming it. His protagonists are not the result of a literary fad, but I've seen tears, laugh, mourn, frustrated and angry in my office week after week, "writes Gabriel Rolon licensed in the foreword to Stories couch.
Thus, the "eight life stories" that make up this book are based on real cases. In sessions in which analyst and patient come to an agreement to address together one of the toughest road, which leads to the truth as the only instrument to release the pain.
Jealousy anorgasmia, grief, infidelity, guilt feelings and sensations, all so close to the skin in these "modern times" - are among the issues on which Gabriel Rolon (known also for his involvement in radio and television programs) deploys its staff understanding of psychoanalysis. A dynamic that lends an attentive ear and human stories ranging from laughter to tears and sorrow to joy neck without losing their way in full in a book indispensable. "
Rolón talks about his couch
Stories Gabriel Rolon just edited stories couch. Eight stories of life and as part of the promotion was interviewed by Sebastian Wainraich Metro and the environment where said what was the news of the day (which for him was the suspension of the consultation by the police). As data to Wainraich
loved: had he read it in two days. About the book spoke
:
GR: There is a very paradigmatic case here, that when I gave it to read the patient was laughing, which starts with the patient insulting. Did you remember?
SW: If I have it clearly, that the daughter is sick, very serious. And you will say "I guess I will be glad that your daughter is sick."
GR: Exactly. And insulting me wrong patient. It is a patient for whom I have great affection and in that time ... I swear it is those two seconds where you have to think and said, "Well, I have to say will be mad, you're going to hurt, but it's time to say it." Similarly when a patient falls ill.
SW: Yeah, obviously I also hated you when I read that and then all the explanation you're going a little more understanding.
GR: (laughs) Sure. But you see, so I put there "there are times that we too have to say things to ourselves we would not want to hear or say." But the treatment comes first.
SW: How long have you had wanted to write? Or emerged now?
GR: Look, I really been writing about three different formats books. I like writing. And each had been working as a novel, east of the stories, another of Answers to queries. Well, like I was killing the habit of writing. Editorial Planeta And when I called to propose a book for them, what I felt was that I wanted to write something like this. That is, something between the clinic and literature. That is, out there not only respond, say, common queries, yes?. What do I know; suponete, the book "100 queries that you would do to a psychologist"
SW: No, here are cases in point. And some extreme, super extreme. People who are in trouble with lovers, with your body, diseases People who can not digest the deaths. Things that happen to us all and we live together in the city and all seem normal, but when we locked in an office saying everything happens to us.
GR: Sure, sure, sure. And to me this chance to show just that we were talking, the analyst's humanity and what happens inside a clinic treated with respect and, well, the harshness that is carrying out an analysis. But showing that sometimes, the analysis by some trim walks are fun, they have to do with humor. And that intelligence and humor of the hand helps a lot to overcome some difficult and traumatic times.

Es un libro muy cortito que se lee en un par de horas. Se trata de diálogos en el consultorio con pacientes (reales o no) de Rolón. A veces atrapante, a veces los diálogos parecen un poco forzados.
