OIA censored ... to see on line! Full analysis

From my analysis to the new initial pokes fifth generation, and inspired by the quality items I see in BIRCland and Ninten page, I decided to open a new section with articles with curious and interesting things in the world of Pokémon. I did a comment, as I said recently, three new pokes in Black and White issues, which are to leave, and now bring a new item.

And the central theme is the censored chapter.
As you know, I've said several times that the Pokémon anime I was a bit disappointing, as well as repetitive. The sins of infantilising an anime video game series that was not so directed at children as believed.
But still, I admit that the first three seasons I like, whether for quality or for that nostalgic feel that I generated in these chapters, so different from current (The first two generations are the best, in my opinion.
This article today that came from, just by chance, I saw such famous censored episodes of this first season.

As you know (and if you do not know web search on any topic relating to) the Pokémon animated series had a few chapters that for some reason or another were censored and removed from the air, either in Japan or in their passage to the world. Some of them were censored United States and not in Latin America for cultural issues (the chapter of the Children's Day) or the finer points (like the chapter in which a giant Tentacruel broken buildings, making the public to remember the attack on the twin towers, or other Wishcash that generates an earthquake, you can see below), and other stupid reasons (like Jynx's skin that could give a racist message.)

But there are others in particular enter into three, which have always interested me, and I always have liked to see, either for reasons that were censored, but it became rare . Critical censure, censure important. Interestingly, today I found online and by chance these chapters, in Japanese but subtitled in English, so at last I could enjoy them.

I'll start with that vacations in Acapulco, where Ash and company arrive at a beach, where (for one thing and another) is a beauty contest, where James has inflatable breasts and striking addition to sensually touch them, laugh at those Misty. This was the main reason for the censorship, explicit transvestism James (on other occasions he has dressed as a woman, but not this way.)

This chapter shows sexism in its purest form, semi-naked female bodies as ever, even the protagonists see Misty as a sex toy. Something never seen in this series ... "Childish" ...

The second chapter is to show the legend of Dratini. The censorship of this chapter caused confusion among fans of the series, as this shows how Ash captures his herd of Tauros. In this episode, the guard of the Safari zone and befriended a Dratini, and protect their hideout used his gun to scare away the curious.

This chapter was censored for that: the excessive use of weapons, either by guard, for the same James, a little too violent for the series which we are accustomed.

And the last is perhaps Chapter censored most famous of all: that which caused several seizures in many Japanese children. Starring
Porygon, pokémon rarely reappeared in the series, this chapter tells the story of strange thefts are happening in the Pokeballs transfer system through the PC. Ash and company must get into the cyber space to the problem.

I admit I was "miedito" watching this episode, and tried to see him in good light and well away from the monkeys. Unlike what I read there, the seizures were not caused by any thunder of Pikachu, but the constant tinkle blue and red lights that occurs in some scenes. It's a strange feeling to see it and think "so it was this ..."
Enjoy ... carefully.

Well, this ends the second article in PokExtraS. I hope to find time and write interesting things about the world of Pokémon, without abandoning the ideal of making the guides on the games with details not found in conventional guides. Greetings, I hope comments.
