Aggression against pension being prepared by the State Government and the right, can be translated into a new agreement with unions confederal majority in what could be a betrayal of the level of the Moncloa Pacts.
The discussion in the CGT for the convening of the General Strike has been occurring in the last three years with clear agreements to work towards a call to stop your feet to the Capital, the banking system and politicians to increase their benefits and privileges as we require sacrifice and submission to those who depend on wages.
In the last three months we had to discuss again about the opportunity to convene a new general strike against lengthening the working life of two years and the reduction of pensions which means add years to calculate the retirement
The first declarations of the main trade unions on a strike one day before the presentation of the Bill in Parliament, have given way to an obscure process of negotiation that people only know the news in the press.
The internal debate within the CGT has been truly exemplary, participatory and diverse positions depending on the circumstances of each territory. It has evaluated the possibilities, conditions and the will to call the general strike for 27 January 2011. Finally se ha constatado que a nivel estatal no es posible una convocatoria de Huelga General. Sin embargo sí se ha planteado ese día como una jornada de lucha, de acción, de movilización, DE DIGNIDAD, contra lo que nos preparan los “agentes sociales”. Y PARA LLAMAR A UNA HUELGA GENERAL DE ENFRENTAMIENTO A ESTA AGRESIÓN.
Y dentro de las posibilidades que se abren en algunos territorios, se convoca Huelga General en cuatro territorios confederales.
• CATALUNYA: convocatoria de Huelga General con Solidaridad Obrera y COS.
• GALIZA: convocatoria propia al mismo tiempo de que la CIGA.
• EUSKADI: convocatoria while and ELA-STV LAB.
• Navarre: call itself while and ELA-STV LAB.
